The mayor closed NYC streets and the MTA shut down. As of 11 p.m. last night, non-emergency vehicles are not allowed on the road. The city has shut down. No one can move anywhere, save for walking. The city parks are closed.
This morning, we were expecting to wake up to close to 20 inches of snow. By our estimation, there is probably about 8 inches of snow. We got dressed in our snow gear and headed out to our courtyard, where it was not windy.
As soon as we went outside, Liliana exclaimed, "let it go!" like the movie Frozen, which she loves. We made snowballs, Liliana made a snow angel and Joe and I had a snowball fight while Liliana watched and smiled.
