Today was Liliana's first Jazz class at Lincoln Center. We picked this music class, even though it takes us about 30 minutes to get to, because they use real instruments and real musical concepts.
Ms. Patrice is our teacher and we have an accompanist who will be at each week too! Lily LOVED class and I have to say it's one of my favorites too.
After the animal visitor, we took a walk with class up to the children's zoo portion where they could feed animals. Normally, Liliana has been slightly afraid of the animals and certainly wouldn't put her hand right up to their mouths so they could eat the food. Not today! She fed the alpaca, the sheep and the goats. See if you can spot in the pictures, where she thought she could feed another animal.
We went to the Lobster Shack in Two Lights for lunch. We had to wait 15 minutes just to park the car! The lobster was great and Joe got the clam strips, which were very fresh. I don't think he was expecting that :)
After naptime, we hit the beach since it's only one block away from us. We were surprised (but shouldn't have been), when we saw the tide way out. Lily wanted to catch all the seagulls.
