Looks can be deceiving. Liliana actually hates the swings. She LOVES the slides at the park. She only looks like she's tolerating this swing ride because 5 seconds later she was taken out of the swing. She knew it was over.
Liliana likes to go "shopping" in our apartment. She has her purse on one shoulder and her shopping bag in the other hand. If you look inside, you'll find her tape roll bracelet, a gadget that makes music, probably some stacking toys and a couple of books :)
It has been busy here in NYC. Over Memorial Day weekend, we headed down to Brooklyn Bridge Park and brought Lily to the water playground. Joe said the water was cold, so they really just walked through and came back out.
Lily has gotten much more proficient at chasing Louie, much to his chagrin. He tries to "hide-out" in higher places, but even there, she has figured out how to get to him. She has actually figured out how to pull herself up onto the couch and onto chairs. So, we signed her up for the little toddler gymnastics class at the gym.
She also battled a cold which knocked her out the past two weeks. She is just getting over it and starting to feel better which is good! We've had to miss 2 playdates with her buddy from swimming and we've been stuck inside much more than we want to be.
Next up, a visit from Joe's parents this weekend :)
