Liliana Angeline Bueche (finally) made her entrance on Wednesday, March 27 at 6:25 a.m. Her original due date was March 16 but she held on for 11 extra days!
She weighed in at 7 pounds, 4 ounces and 20.5 inches long. Since she was so late, I was induced early Tuesday morning and she finally came after 16 hours of labor and 4 hours of pushing...and some extra help from my doctors and nurse (who were amazing).
She was born at New York University Hospital in Manhattan. She has already met her Aunt, Uncle and two cousins!
Take a look at some early pictures!
Well, her nursery is finished...for the time being. I do have some of her laundry to finish up (as it is piled up in her laundry basket).
After the heritage items, we added some other things to her nursery. Her middle name will be Angeline after her great-great-grandmother, so there is a picture on the bookcase. I also did fix the baseball conundrum and got a baseball piggy-bank. She has a pretty good book collection started and a few really awesome blankets. A lot of the things in her room were hand-made by artisans or family members.
Now, all we're waiting for is her! She is due on Saturday (which is also my birthday), but somehow I think she will be late.
